How long do your iphone 4S or ipad 2 backups take over wifi?

Mine seem to take 30 mins or so each... is there something wrong, or is this just how it is?

It seemed that initially when i was backing up my iphone to icloud it took seconds, but it seems that much more information is being backed up if i back up via wifi to my computer.. is this right?

noticed that it takes less time when plugged in, but then what is the point of wireless sync if it takes 30+ mins to sync everytime.. am i alone in this, or is this a common issue?

My first backup took maybe 20-25 mins, but each backup theirafter has taken 1-2 mins each time (wether its plugged in or unplugged).

I haven't timed them but my Wi-Fi syncs are not that much longer then my cable connected ones. They maybe a tad slower. Usually they take a couple of minutes.

After saying that yesterday, it took 30 minutes this morning.

Everyone needs to remember that their could be many variables for the various back-up times, example:

• Camera Roll images and the HD 720p-1080p videos (length of videos + how many movies)
• Time of day or night the back-up initiates.
• Content that is being backed-up.

iCloud backs-up once every 24hrs (when plugged into a power source), so keep in mind that a many people upgraded their iDevice to iOS 5 between 10am-7pm, so a back-up at 2pm may take longer than a back-up done at 2am (less devices trying to back-up in the a.m. timeframe).
