Backups with 3.0.1

I really hope backups get faster because this SUCKS every time I sync my iPad. I'm still backing up to apply the update and it's been 30 mins. (yes, I know it's 3.2.1....typo)

I was just thinking the same thing. Backups on this device are S L O W. Unbearably slow. Impossibly slow.

does this update speed the backups at all?

Amazingly, it's about 4 hours later from when I started, and it is STILL not done backing up. #fail

I am about halfway done backing up now, and it's been going for 3 hours.

This is flat out ridiculous. There is NO reason backups should take this long.

I canceled my backup. Whenever I have a half day to burn I'll try again...
