Hi,

I just recently dled the bad company 2 beta for mb pro 15" late 2009. For some reason when I play I get alot of screen flickers, anyone know what might cause this? I am currently running the 9600m gt graphic card with the 185 driver.

Make sure your driver is completely updated. Im running on 8600m GT with no problems at all. Also try different resolutions. Keep in mind it is a beta and there are problems with it.

I am just wondering but what are your settings? how many MB is the 8800? Mien is the 9800M GT with 512MB. Are u using DX11?

I am using win XP 32 bit 4GB ram nvidia geforce 8600M GT 2.4 GHZ MBP.

Currently my game settings are stock besides resolution which is set to 1400x900 and texture which is set at medium.

i believe i am using the latest version of DX. If you go on fileplanet there are new nvidia drivers out you may want to try there.

But seriously, this game looks like *****...
Running it with 4x AA / 16x AF, otherwise maxed settings on DX10 on my Mac Pro and jeez, that game looks really ugly. The performance is sluggish and choppy, even tho I'm getting 55-80 frames / sec... even with 1x AA / 16x AF, otherwise maxed settings on DX9 with 110++ frames it still has hickups. Not even to mention that the whole controls feel awkward and clunky.

I hope the final product will be more polished, right now on my PS3 it looks way better and plays more smooth. You can really notice that this is a console port with mouse support added... speaking of mouse, its absolutely gay that I have to move my mouse 4 times across the whole mousepad until I turned a tanks turret by 180 degrees...
