I bought a new 14" iBook on 9/24 and by that tuesday i had ordered a gig of ram from crucial. Now im trying to detrmine if i have bad ram or not as im having some trackpad issues. The cursor gets jumpy and tracking get extra fast. Also my wireless signal drops out and completely loses the name of my network. Both of these problems are solved with a quick restart. And it only happens about every 2 days or so. I didnt immediately think bad ram because i associate bad ram with kernel panics. But no kernel panics, and i did remove ram for a day and didnt have any problems. But again problem doesnt occur everyday. So do i have a ram problem or maybe a software and hardware problem?

If the problem only occurs every after about 48 hours of uptime, then you need to take the Crucial memory out for longer and try it. The Airport issues is probably a Tiger issue, as I've heard of other people having it and its happened to me once or twice. I'm not sure about your trackpad issues, thats a new one on me. I think your probably are PROBABLY not memory, but its hard to tell without more troubleshooting.
