bad for iphone to keep restoring?

hey all,

so i have a 1.1.2 ootb iphone that i have tried several times to upgrade to 1.1.3 using installer and when i upgrade to 1.1.3 and use installer it keeps crashing when trying to install apps.... so i downgraded back to 1.1.1 and tried installing all over again... i have done this around 5 times and have had no luck with 1.1.3. is it bad for the phone to keep restoring and upgrading or does it make no difference?

It's increasing the opportunities to screw your firmware....BUT assuming their successful..then it's fine!
