I deserve to have my iPhone confiscated. Today, a Razr owner needed to know where a Radio Shack was. iPhone to the rescue! The perfect time to show off.

I went to Google Maps, typed in 'radio,' & Radio Shack came up. But Google Maps could not locate it. Frustrated, I tried again. Still, "No Search Results Found."

The only location it gave was an address (inside of the Port Authority Bus Terminal), but the guy was certain that it was on 6th Avenue of the Americas. Disappointed, he headed to the station.

Later, I thought of how I could have searched Google on the iPhone's Safari.

In Safari I entered 'Radio Shack (zip code #)' and the location he wanted came up as the top result!! I entered that street address into Google maps and wah-lah. The pin fell right into place.

He's a co-worker, so tomorrow I'll show him how smart the iPhone REALLY is and...how dumb I am

Why didn't you just type "Radio Shack (zip code)" into Google Maps? :)

hmm, so you type in a zip code...I didn't know that.

That will be very useful

(so how many of you used the stocks widget today?)
