Anyone experience really bad smudging on your iPhone 7 display screen?

I've only had it a month and the fingerprints are ridiculous. I wipe with soft cloth and a little while late totally covered, and my hands are pretty clean. It doesn't seem to resist smudges as if it were new.

Any chance of bringing it to apple and complaining?

Have you ever cleaned it with any product outside of a dry cloth? You may have removed the oleophobic coating. And no Apple will not do anything for this.

Would love to be there when you tell Apple your phone "smudges".

Clean the screen once a day and try not to use it while you are eating fried chicken.

I'd recommend a good glass screen protector. I have one on my 6 plus from Spigen and it seems to keep the smudges down to minimum.

The oleophobic coating will reduce the amount of natural skin oil that gets deposited on the display, and make it easier to wipe it off, but it won't prevent smudges.

You're touching it wrong. Jk. I personally don't have that problem. I have that problem when I install screen protectors. I also experienced that before with third party screen replacements.

If there's less natural oil deposited on the screen won't that lead to less smudges? I know when my coating goes away on older iDevices that the smudges are much more present.
