Over the last couple of weeks, I received a charge out of my Wells Fargo account of $90 from Apple, supposedly a "test" charge of my iPad order, and then a week or so later another $900-something charge, payment for the remainder of my iPad 3G order.

However, today while scrolling through my bank account online, I cannot locate either of the two charges any longer, and my balance reflects the money was not taken out of my account, or actually taken and replaced.

Anyone else have this type of weirdness occurring?

Bank teller CSR on phone said it is not uncommon for Apple to charge amounts to verify funds, then pull them, then charge again a few days later.

CSR said they could see the transactions posted then pulled on their end, but we couldn't see it from ours anymore.

CSR said Apple should charge the whole transaction for our 3G in a couple days.

FWIW.
