K, glad it isn't just me. I just use mint for the time being. Hopefully Bank of America puts out an update soonish.

This is interesting, my bank app, Ulster Bank crashes when you try to look into an account, works fine on iPad Air running beta 2. The app makers also make NatWest's app for the UK, and this also crashes. I wonder are the app makers linked?

Thus far, BOA app is the only app installed on my phone that constantly crashes. Fortunately, if I need to access the app, I'll just pull it up on my SE which still has iOS 9.3.2.

I contacted B of A mobile services and they said that an update is due out at the end of July/ early August at the latest that will fix this issue.

I wouldn't count on that, Apple will not approve any iOS 10 compatibility updates until the launch of iOS 10. More likely at the end of September.

Facebook fixed their app that was crashing on iOS 10.

Yes, but its not iOS 10 compatible, meaning Beta 3 could break it again. A true fully compatible app will not hit the app store until iOS 10 launches.

And this thread (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-10-compatible-apps.1977186/page-11#post-23125219) is full of apps that have been updated to fix issues with iOS 10. 9.3.3 could break an app even if it is compatible with iOS 9. You are correct though in one point...an app that SAYS it's compatible with iOS 10 won't come out until iOS 10 does.

The app crashes whenever I try to open it, but still sends notifications just fine.

At least I still have my 5C on 9.3.2 for when I need it. It's a major inconvenience, but it's the cost of using a beta.

My BOA app crashes every time I use it on my 6s. I am on iOS 10 beta. Have to use my se as well for banking. Also my Sirius/XM app will play fine then stop. I have to keep pushing the play button. No big deal though as I know this is a beta and I just appreciate getting to try it out early.

In another thread, someone said that if you turn off "hey Siri," the problem goes away. This fix worked for me and my brother.

There's nothing preventing a dev from fixing crashes on iOS10 and updating their app and "general fixes" or "fix crashes."

There are restrictions on using APIs that are new to iOS10 until the official release. Making rich notifications or something using something exclusive to iOS10

BOA could certainly fix the crash now
