Looks like the production line has really ramped up in early January. Maybe by end of January we'll be able to walk into an Apple Store and walk out with one of the baseline models.

I pulled the trigger on the 6core version from B&H. Its a little more than I wanted to spend but hey you only live once

Don't forget the MicroCenter Web store. They have both models in stock. Funny how apple has none. I'm sure they horde them in the back room until given the green light to sell.
