Base mac mini with 5k display?

Anyone have experience using the very lowest model mac mini (i3, 8GB RAM) with a 5k ultrafine? Does it run OK in native retina resolution? I'm talking web browsing, office type tasks, not pro level stuff...
 
It runs the Ultrafine 5K absolutely fine at native resolution. Just make sure you have atleast 16GBs of ram as 8GB will make some OS animations laggy at 5K.
