what is your guy's highest score in arcade mode? ive been trying for the 50,000 score achievement forever now and the closest i can get is 26k. I have almost the full set of the Blue Lightning gear too...

Matchup: 6,529
Arcade: 1,537 (35,010 points)
Classic: 432 (146 HRs)

This might be a dumb question, but for most of the equipment selection, I saved up and bought the best thing in each category (except for helmet, I'm saving up for that one). Do you increase the players power and contact further by buying all the other stuff also, even if you're not "using" it when you're playing?

I think that's the one thing I still don't understand. I'm only a few balls away from owning all the top-of-the-line products, but still will be able to earn more gold balls -- just want to know what I can spend those on and if it'll help.

Matchup: 11203
Arcade: 3725

My high score is 29,608

I'm also curious what happens when you have the best of everything. I'm not far from having all of the knights equipment and the wrench-bat.

Not sure. I have the best of everything and have close to 3,000 gold balls not being used. I really have no reason to use them up since I already have everything that is the best.

Matchup: 12658
Arcade: 14087, have not played that in a while. need to get a higher score ASAP
Classic: 36 HR

i am 42% through mission. i am a rookie with 5 stars currently

but if you check, the best in each category isn't necessarily the real best. The last things you can buy are all big contact upgrades, with a few before them being power upgrades. I find it best to mix and match pieces of equipment to maximize it all

I think there's a massive flaw in this game. All your golden balls and equipment purchased is lost if you have to restore or change your handset.

I've restored my phone without losing anything. Backup your phone before you restore then restore the backup.

Power: 59
Control: 58
Matchup: 550
Arcade: 448
Classic: 137
High Score: 41,915 -- After some success in Arcade mode, the pitcher starts throwing just absolute gasoline across the plate. Even the curveballs, sliders and sinkers are smoking fast and almost unhittable.

That's one of two issues I have with what I think is the greatest game the iPhone has yet seen (until Dexter and GTA come out). The other is in Matchup mode: The reward disparity when you beat a lower-ranked player versus when they beat you is totally unbalanced. I've beaten guys five times in a row only to lose or have a weak signal (translation: lose) and ended up giving up more points to them in that one game then they gave up to me in all those other games. It's at the point now where I won't play anybody ranked worse than about 3,000.

Progress in this game is saved according your iPhone device ID. Does anyone know if there is any way to transfer progress to a new phone? I had mine replaced and now I have to start over on Slugger.

Cheating?

I have been trying to get 10 straight wins but eventually someone kicks my ass.
Can someone add me, I will allow them to serve me 10 straight times, then visa versa. 2,000 gold balls?

Dantastic7 is the profile name.

Cheers!
