Well I replaced the 5 ceiling can lights in my basement office / photography room with diffuse reflectors, truly like that more than the prior lamps.
(Also the 2700k BR30 lights)

The new LED lights I bought from Costco are light color adjustable (and dimmable).

Had it at 2700k, too warm, moved to 3000k which seemed slight warm, so moved to 4000k. At first I liked that, yet now feels too blue.. may go back to 3000k.
Q: what is your office / workplace lighting at color temp wise? And why?

These actually worth every penny, they diffuse the light very nice.

A lighting consultant I work with and I often debate lighting color temps. I prefer warmer, she's landed on 3000K.

But that's for general lighting, rather than task-specific lighting, like e.g., evaluating color prints.

FWIW I never personally go past 3000K.

What's the CRI on your bulbs?

I do tend to be more concerned about CRI than color temp. 80 is a bare minimum, but I prefer higher.

If your bulbs are Feit, it looks like the CRI is 90. Not bad, but not SOTA either.

Not surprisingly, high CRI bulbs are in my experience more expensive.

We have adjustable LED's in our house. D50 (500K) for me every time. Funny thing is we sell products at work to control lighting in workspaces and viewing booths etc for professional designers etc. We even sell stickers and meters so you can test the number you are supposed to be getting is what you get.
Little coloured stickers where it shows strips unless it's at the right temperature. https://www.rpimaging.com/products/pia-gatf-rhem-light-indicator

I never knew stuff like that existed before I joined the company.
