I'm interested in reading about the basics, up to an early intermediate understanding, of internet networking and troubleshooting, as well as setting up and maintaining OSX Server (including terminal commands).
I'd like an easy-to-read book, with clear explanations, and with discussions that are relevant to the internet and OSX Leopard (or the programs Leopard is derived from, e.g. Linux/BSD). By basic, I mean something as basic as explaining what the ping, nslookup, ifconfig, and other commands do, together with an explanation of DNS, DHCP, Masks, etc., hopefully progressing to an early intermediate level of understanding and some basic troubleshooting (e.g. how to interpret and troubleshoot ping responses, packet loss, understanding exactly why a user's internet connection appears slow, etc.).
Any good recommendations for a recent, readable, understandable book?
