Basic Downloading Noob Question --

I was wondering how to keep certain downloads such as this icon download. I deleted the .dmg that came with it and not it can't find it. Am I doing something wrong? The file is the orange icon "modern times". Thanks.

Your alias probably points to the icon that was in the disk image. That's why it can't find it...it's gone. You needed to copy the icon file from the disk image to somewhere on your computer.

Yes, but perhaps you did it wrong. People do make mistakes...

Try it again and be sure it is the app and not an alias before trash.
