Sorry if these seem simple, but I'm a total parallels newbie. I need to be able to run MS Access and then a few accounting programs for some classes at school. Nothing too big. What kind of problems am I going to run into using Parallels?

The only major problem areas you'll run into are applications which require accelerated graphics (3D apps, etc) and connecting USB devices like MP3 players (especially with copy-protected tracks). Apart from that Parallels will pretty much work like most PC's.

If for example you give Windows a 512MB memory window (advised), you will also need over 1Gb of RAM for smooth switching between Mac & PC.
