hello,
I am having trouble finding a solution to add country codes to phone numbers in my contacts that start with a specific number. I have hundreds of numbers that need this and i don't know how to work applescript. i tried many scripts i found online but they don't do what i need them to do.

unfortunately automator does not allow editing of phone numbers so i got stuck there.

what i need help with is to find and replace phone numbers that only begin with 05 for example and change it to +9875 for example. I found this very difficult and tedious. I hope you can help me and others to solve this.

Thanks

Thanks but that will not work, as i still have to go through all the possible numbers in that file that are not phone numbers that start with 05 to edit them individually.

I do like the point in that link that mentioned dragging the group to the desktop instead of exporting vcard. the file is a lot cleaner without most of the computer gibberish, but it still has some code that is meaningless to the average joe like me who has to sift through ;)
