Hi, I've just spent most of Sunday trying to work out how I can batch process word files into PDF. I figured the most sensible way would be to use automator and applescript as well as a virtual printer. The virutal printer will stop the stupid "print window" from coming up and asking questions. As a result, the converted files (all 50 of them) will just appear in a folder after I tell the computer to convert (print) them.

My problem is I can't seem to work out how to set up this virtual printer. Instructions are provided here http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20031116190809396

I just don't understand how to copy the script to the spot in the terminal.. Does that make sense?

It says I have to copy the included script to /usr/libexec/cups/backend/pdf... How do I do that? I don't get it.. :(
