So just looking for a way, preferable with Automator, to remove everything after the first 5 characters from a filename.

I've got 24 folders with files named such as:
53918 - CAD 409G CREMEEGG TIN 6CA
51702 - CAD EASTER EGG TRAIL 343G 8CA

and would like to be able to rename them so they are simply just
53918
51702

Can anyone shed some light, or point me in the right direction for how to go about doing this

So I just had a dig about in Automator, and it does have a lot of renaming tools, but they either replace or add to text, seemingly not cut. How familiar are you with either like Python, Bash or even Swift programming. Last time I had to rename a whole bunch of files I just wrote a Swift program to do it and that worked out well.
