I just had my 3g phone drop from 90% to red so I wasn't able to turn my phone back on. It's recharging now but any one else have this problem?

I was installing update to facebook and while it was installing I put my phone into sleep in my pocket. When tried to wake back up just showed that battery was red and needed to charge.

I had my iPhone 3g recharged when I left to go see the Dark Knight with my girlfriend. After the movie is over the phone was at 10% and falling. It also felt pretty warm (not hot but like it had been downloading something for awhile) and it was weird because it normally is cool coming from my pocket. Then it died completely. I was pissed. Also my email now crashes everytime I load it now, but not when I turn off my mobile me account. My phone also crashes 5-6 times a day. I have 34 apps installed. Hmmmm...this new iPhone is really getting on my nerves. Laggy interface too. Thinking about using my old one until all the bugs are fixed.

i had an issue similar to yours yesterday. my battery showed 100% all day. i unplug my phone around 6am during the weekdays before leaving for work. by noon, i knew something was wrong because my battery status was still 100%. i didn't think a whole lot about it and went on with my daily work tasks all at the same time using my iphone like i normally do. downloaded a couple apps, used the ipod app, took a couple of pictures, etc. etc. at around 7pm, the phone died because the battery went dead. charged it up and its working fine today.

weird but oh well.

Yeah about the same every thing seams to be ok today. Maybe the battery on top right of screen is buggie?
