I am dumbfounded. A new iOS version and another round of fast battery drain. Since the iOS 13 upgrade, I have found my battery drains quickly. Today after 6 hours of normal usage, I had 25% battery remaining. I had a replacement battery installed by Apple circa 6 months ago. The last time I checked my battery capacity, the iOS12 reported 100%. It is now down at 90%. This might be due to the phone only having 2 recharge cycles under the new iOS 13, but it doesn't explain the faster battery drain.

They want you to buy a new phone. If they purposely jack 100,000 old iPhones that’s mega revenue.

Nothing to do with wear level.

This answer for every new iOS release gripe is over used.

Resist.
Because it’s true. All modern OS’s index when they’re first installed. Windows 10, Mac, Linux, Android, even iOS. Heck any version of Outlook indexes all your emails. How do you think search features work?
