For whatever reason , in the settings the battery is showing that I had the torch on for 5 hours .. Yet I am % sure the torch was not on, why was it recorded as being on?
I mean 5 hours of torch being on could be damaging to the device or to the torch itself, wouldn’t it?

Please check the video I attached below.

Phone will be fine, you most likely activated the torch by accident on the Lock Screen. ???

I had the phone on me and the torch was not, I even checked in the last hour it said it was on and it was still recorded as being on.. what could possibly have caused this?

Most likely a bug then. Wouldn’t worry about it.

i guess its a bug... if the torch was on for 5 hours youre gonna have a burning phone. but i doubt it will catch fire as the phone would shut down instead.

It seems like an iOS bug. I see constantly the Torch in my Battery usage (for me it is not hours, it has no duration, just mentioned there) and I do not use it. Like not at all. So to me it seems like iOS bug. I cannot tell you if the bug is with how the battery usage per app is presented, or there is some background process related to Torch that goes rogue. I am leaning towards the latter.
