Hi all, i was at a apple store.

Have a ipad pro 12.9 2017.

Wanted to change battery around 100 dollars, they first said ok. Then said no its to good for us to change it, should be below 80%. Told them it is really bad and I know since it does not last at all like before. And want it fix so I don't need to think about it for the next 3 years.
He said ok, then went inside, probably talking to manager. Then come back out.

He said, do a fresh install. But then I will have to reinstall all apps which will take me many hours and hours. Do this and check if it is better, otherwise come in again in a week.

This seem really weird ?

Just to do a real world test instead of just having a feeling it is bad.

I used to get around 12 hours on Netflix on half brightness.

The test I did today was from 100% , 3 hours of the Irishman, and I got 24% left on half brightness.

Can a fresh install really help me ? Or is there something else? 89% is really good otherwise, that's suppose to be just a bit over 1 hour less then before.
