Info pulled from here.

Alright, I was confused on my CD MacBook at first too but after skimming over the article a couple times I understand it now, here's what you do.

  1. Charge the machine until the MagSafe connector is green, you can use the computer while this is happening.
  2. Leave the battery fully charged for at least two hours, you can use the computer during this time as well.
  3. Disconnect the MagSafe connector and use the computer until it shuts off meaning you've drained your battery and the machine has put itself to sleep.
  4. Allow the machine to stay asleep for 5 hours or more (usually overnight I recommend). Do NOT reattach the MagSafe during this time.
  5. After the 5+ hours (or the next morning) plug the MagSafe back into the machine and connected until the battery is fully charged again.

Hope that helped.

Edit:
PS : Calibration is basically using the battery till the end then racharging it right? What exactly is the point?I've read you shouldn't really calibrate it often.

You're right. I usually do it every month or two months, I forgot which but I have an iCal alarm to remind me to do it.

It doesn't really matter. Even if it's sleeping, it uses up power (albeit not much). So long as you don't plug it into the power socket when you're meant to be discharging, you can do whatever you like. :)

Thanks man.So what exactly SHOULDN'T I do when using it normally (between calibrations) in order to make the most out of the battery?

I can't let the MBP got to sleep when using the battery? Is that it?

There's nothing really you shouldn't do per say, but use it without the magsafe every once and a while to just work the battery, like I keep my MacBook plugged in a lot more than I should, because I stopped taking it in the living room when my wireless range went down and it slowed the internet down, but I do still try to 'work out' the battery if you will, but yeah just follow my intstructions and use it as you please in between calibrations and you'll be fine.
