Hi there!

I hope you're all enjoying your new C2D Macbook Pros like I am but I've been strugling to understand Apple's instructions on calibrating the battery.

#3 on the instructions says:

"Disconnect the power adapter with the MacBook Pro on and start running it from the battery. You may use your computer during this time. When your battery gets low, you will see the low battery warning dialog on the screen."

Does this mean I have to leave the laptop on throughout the entire duration of this step or can I use it a bit then put it to sleep or turn it off. I know it says "you may use your computer at this time" and this probably means I don't have to have it on throughout this step but I just want to make sure.

Call me dumb but any help understanding this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :)

Ok, quick question along the same lines, is there a quicker way then leaving it to sleep for 5 hours? I had my C2D MacBook Pro fully charged for 2 hours, then I had full brightness and about 30minutes of Halo(non universal demo) and Call of Duty 2 demo, it lasted just under 2 hours in total and now it completely dead, one light blinks really fast on the battery and it doesn't turn on, no sleep light either. Do I have to wait 5 hours before charging it? Or is there some thing quicker? Also when charging it, the computer may be on, correct?

Thanks in advance:)
