My current Pismo battery holds about 30 minutes of charge...if that sometimes. The thing about it is that when it's charging, the full bars dont show up until it's full, it just blinks on the last LED. I also have a "dead" Pismo battery that was giving me 2+ hours and then just died.

Anyway to actually calibrate or reset these batteries? I know you can just run battery reset in OS9, but that only works for Lombards and I dont have a Lombard around to do this.

Suggestions?

maybe the batteries are just in the end of their life?, i used to have a pismo, loved it :D maybe you should consider purchasing a new battery?
they sell them here : http://www.newertech.com/

Thanks for the advertisement. If I wanted to spend lots of money on a new battery I would do it already, however, I'm not.

I have no money, thus why I'm asking for calibration tips. :p

well, you can first reset the PMU ,i ain't sur you can do that on a pismo, i can't remember, then put your battery in a bag, in the freezer a few hours, then maybe do the classic calibration people are doing here on their mbpros, just let in run til it goes to sleep, then leave it an hour or two, and recharge fully, it's worth trying.

I apologize for not having an extra 2 grand to drop on a macbook pro you pretentious douche.

Everyone who actually suggested things, thank you I'll give some of them a shot.

edit: deadpixels, does the freezer thing really work? I may give that a shot.

i read in other thread that some did and it helped, i'm sure it's no 'jouvence' cure but it might help and it doesn't hurt to try :D
