How do I know that I have calibrated the battery correctly? I have followed the guide from apple's website, but I just wanted to make sure that it has been calibrated correctly.. or is there no way to find out? Thanks

I didn't quite follow that guide when I got my MB, but the battery seems to be performing fine. I routinely get more than 3.5 hrs of battery useage when I go mobile. Would it be wise for me to go through and recalibrate the battery per that guide? I have had my MB for two weeks now, so perhaps I should wait another two weeks and do this for the montly battery recalibration I've read about.

I callibrated my battery two days ago, I can't tell the difference. I think at most it may give you 30 minutes more life, but you should do it because it keeps your battery fresh. When charged particles sit around for too long they decay, become another element and can no longer hold the same charge. Although this only happens in small numbers it can result in a shorter battery life.
