Hello, my macbook pro late 2011 13" charging stucks at 99% for almost an hour. What should i do ? Is there is a problem with charger or battery or should i replace one of them.
Thanks in advance

Also there is a notification for Service Battery

You need to replace the battery if you are getting the service battery messages.

However, by design the laptop will not always charge to 100%. It is normal for it to stop charging a few % short.

I thought your power management chip would cap off charging just below the maximum battery capacity to protect the Lithium chemistry inside the battery cells?

OP:

If you don't already have "Coconut Battery" -- download it and post your results here.
I've noticed that when charging my older MBPro, it "stays at 99%" for a while.
I just let it be and don't worry about it.
The battery is older, it's down around 80% or so of its "original capacity" -- but it still works.
