So i searched around the forum for quite a bit and still
cant find an answer to my problem. so the past month
or so my macbook pro CD has been dying around 20%
of battery life.

has anyone experienced this problem? i decided to see
if you guys found way around this before i go to apple
for help.

any help is appreciated. thanks.

Funny thing is, I didn't have any battery trouble ... then I installed the update. Now, the machine just shuts off ... no warning, no sleep. The battery isn't even drained.

This is driving me crazy.

I got this problem.

I brought it to my not-so-very-local Apple repair centre and it was fixed under warrenty.

Though it did take them 8 days (in the middle of the most hectic stage of uni with regards of assignments to do!) to fix it though.

They replaced the battery.

so i went ahead and downloaded the battery update.

ill drain my battery out a couple times and see at what
percent does it shut off. hopefully this problem goes
away.

aaronon: so apple mailed u a new battery after u
told them that u've been having this battery problem?
