Hello,

I have a Macbook Pro 8,1 13 inch, and I've upgraded to Mountain Lion and it seems like the battery dies much faster than on Lion, Does anyone else feel that?
If the battery before could last about 6 hours while browsing the internet only , here it can last for about 3 hours.

Are you saying battery dies faster in ML??

BTW I purchased MBP this feb only . Now its very slow and battery hardly gives 4 hrs. . . .So ML is not much different ?

Yeah battery is terrible on ML it was the same with the OS before it but it gradually got better. I'd say they worry about power management issues last. They keep adding all these extra features to make the mobile experience better, yet what good is that if it knocks the battery time down to only a couple of hours.

I haven't had ML long enough to see, but I've noticed that the battery indicator is schizophrenic. It'll say five hours one minute and 3 the next.

I use iStat though--it might need to be updated.

I went from 6-7 hours in SL (2010 MBP) to ~3 in Lion, so I'm hoping the five hours is not a lie.

Agree. I have a Retina MBP and I'm only getting around 2.5-3 hours. A far cry from the 7.5 I should be getting. Although 5 would be more reasonable with my usage.
