Battery Draining Problem

hi all i am noticing on my MBA that the battery is not lasting like it did, every time i seem to pick it up its flat,i don't believe it draining any quicker when in use but it seems to be when its not.

does the new air have a special standby mode? is it possible mine is no going into it ? could something prevent it entering the standby ?

every day, mostly for a few hours surfing the net, again put it down with the battery about 50% yesterday and tonight it was completely flat.

I noticed the same thing with my MBA the other day. I started using it with a 100% battery and used it until the battery was at about 80%, closed the lid and didn't pick it up for a couple days. Next time I opened it the battery was at around 4%.

I just assumed it must not have gone into deep sleep, but I haven't figured out the culprit yet. I've got a suspicion that it might be the MS Office 2011 calendar notification app. I'm running OSX 10.6.7.

I did briefly check it out. I do have bluetooth paired with a Magic Mouse. I've turned bluetooth off and we'll see what happens.
