What does the battery section of settings show is using the power? Have you force closed apps and restarted phone

Yes, for me it’s a recurring issue with iOS beta’s on all my devices (watch, phone and tablet). I experienced this with previous iOS iterations and again on iOS15. Heat generation does seem to be less but the battery drain can sometimes be crazy. I was able to reduce (not eliminate) both by disabling automatic updates and background refresh of apps (which I don’t use anyway due to privacy risks).

Kill the safari process. This happens a lot on my iPhone 8 and when I look at the battery drain chart it’s always safari in the top spot by a huge margin

some ****ty JavaScript is probably getting stuck and safari can’t suspend or kill it, this has gotten a lot better on beta 3 but it still happens.
