I was just checking my battery condition. The second I opened battery settings my iPhone 7 got very hot and I saw the percentage go down literally every 2 seconds. After closin everything in multitasking window it stopped. Condition is on 81%, I'm on the latest iOs, anyone else experienced this?

That happens with my old 6s that I still use once in a while.

Do not trust the built in battery monitor. It says my 6s has 95% health but Coconut Battery/iMazing peg it at about 50%. It drops 10% from just turning it on.

Your battery most likely needs to be replaced.

81% is pretty close to being quite bad, so what you are describing, while not typical or anything like that, also wouldn't be that unusual for a battery with that level of capacity.

Condition 81% ... I would have my battery replaced. I think it is ruined and getting hot while tested isn't a good sign.
