Battery gauge stays full

Ever since updating to the new 2.0 firmware my battery indicator gauge stays full and never runs down. It eventually shuts off and dies with no warnings. What can I do to recalibrate the gauge?

I can't believe no one else has this problem except 2 of us. Can someone recommend how to clean the iphone and restore it completely?

I downloaded the firmware and selected it when holding down the option key and clicking check for updates and restored from that but still the same problem

Just restored phone again and still have the same problem.HELP!!!
