Was curious what others are seeing as far as battery health / capacity is concerned with similar aged machines.

For roughly ~150 cycles I feel like the health on my battery (86%) has deteriorated a bit more than it should have. See the screenshot attached.

If you can share what you all are seeing for comparison I'd appreciate it. Wondering what Apple will say since this machine is still under AppleCare. Everything else on the machine is mint and while this isn't BAD, I'd love to get the battery replaced under warranty. I thought these were rated up to 1,000 cycles these days with only a certain level of degradation.

Thanks in advance.

That seems to suggest your battery is deteriorating at an accelerated speed, if it is accurate.

Have you reset the SMC and then checked again?
Are you seeing noticeably shorter run times?

If yes/yes, it may be worth taking it to an Apple Authorized Service Provider and having them perform their own diagnostics on the battery.

I am happy to report that although my battery capacity was above the 80% cut-off that apparently they have a policy in place for, they went ahead and did a full new battery swap at the local store last night free of charge. Only took about 10-15 minutes too!

I think it was due to my cycle count being so low (~151). Either way, I'm very happy/satisfied and the new battery has a capacity of about 107% or so. Should get about another 2 hours of operating time back, woohoo!
