I apologize if there are topics on this already.

I have an iPhone 8 that I got in October last year and according to the battery health in settings, my maximum capacity is 95%.

Doesn't that seem low for a phone less than a year old?

Seems about right. From what I've seen, you can expect the capacity to drop 1% about every 2 months.

Apple recommends consumers replace the battery when the capacity drops to 80%.

I got my iPhone X about 3 weeks after release and it is already down to 92% o_O

Day one (ten months old) 8, 96%. Coconut Batter is reporting 96.5%.

Or to put it this way: not noticing any real drop in usefulness at current battery state. And if battery holds up like my previous phones, will only see some difference when I get rid of it in 2020.

How do you charge it? 10W?

It usually charges overnight on a 5W wireless charger.

Probably once a week on average (on days my usage is heavier) I will give it ~40-50% with a 10W when I'm at work. I've used my 30W MacBook charger to charge it maybe 5 times ever.
