I just purchased a used iPad Pro 12.9 6th Gen. Checked the battery on coconut application and this is what I got. Cycle count is 17 but battery health is below 90% Is that normal? I also contacted Apple Support through the app, and they ran a diagnostics. They said the battery health is 94% with 17 cycle count.

I am trying to understand how a 2 year-old iPad has cycle count 17 (89% health according to coconut, 94% according to apple)

Presumably the iPad has been in storage for much of its life. If stored improperly, say fully charged for months, I suppose this could have contributed to the otherwise unexpected 6-10% degradation.

I have the same iPad Pro. That is not normal. With coconutbattery, it is 88% full capacity after 447 cycles. But try discharging and charging. One time the app said I had 65% capacity.
