Hello,

I would like to ask what could probably be problem with battery on my iPhone XR. It is a refurbished unit with 94% battery health. Overnight I got 18-20% battery drain, even with airplane mode on. Could the problem be just battery or there could be also problem with MB? I am on 14.6B2 actually. In attachment is photo from day idle without using phone from morning to evening.

Thanks in advance.

I have activated Airplane and Low Power mode overnight and battery stayed on 100%. What could that mean?
Thanks.

I would like to update this thread as the battery have lasted overnight but next night it has also dropped about 18% in Low Power and Airplane mode. Is it better to revert back to 14.5.1?

Beta software can be writing logs all the time - which uses power.
It's a common recommendation to not install beta software on a primary use phone. Beta software should be installed on a second test phone... then who cares about battery drain

Thanks for info, then I will just wait for next stable version.

I would like to update this post. I have updated to iOS 14.6 as soon as it was available, tried to reset the phone and recover from backup and still have problem with idle/overnight battery drain. With Airplane and Low Power Mode the phone drains a little bit less but it is still about 15%. I usually try to charge the phone between 40-80%, maybe leaving it on charger for some time may help? I did calibrate the battery two weeks ago.

Where could be the problem? Should I try to reset the phone one more time? Thanks.
