I’ve had an iPhone 8 since end of August so it’s only a few months old.
While I’m not yet overly bothered that others who have had theirs since the release still show battery health at 100%, mine has lost 1% every month and is now on 96.
It just begs the question if it’s the wireless charger that’s causing this?
Only reason I mention it is because when I plug in to supplied charger it doesn’t get warm, whereas the wireless one makes the phone heat up. In Apple leather case, or out of it.
What’s the general consensus of these wireless chargers on the forums. A good thing or a sure way to degrade your battery faster than usual?
Is it purely luck of the draw. I ask this because my previous 5S battery was dreadful from new to old.
I would like this one to last a year or two before this depreciation of battery. I don’t wait till it’s very low before charging, as I read that causes problems, which I frequently did with the 5S, but that was not a choice, it was not avoidable because it didn’t last that long.
