O I've got a black 80 gigabyte iPod classic, I bought it in December and I'm noticing that the battery doesn't seem to be lasting as long now!

I use it all the time and I have the EQ setting set to R&B so I know that's going to tax the battery more than otherwise but I'm using half my battery in like 3 or 4 hours. I walk to my classes in the mornings, it's about a 20 minute walk. I use shuffle a lot and end up skipping tracks a lot too, it it normal to have the battery used up like that in that amount of time or should I have it evaluated?

I live 5 mins from the Salt Lake City Apple store so it's no big deal for me to go in, but if it's normal then I don't want to waste the genius's time. Is there something I can do to check on the batteries health myself?

Thanks in advance for your help!
