Hey guys, I just got an iPhone and love it. I was lucky enough to get one with 1.1.1 so I could start hacking it right away, then I add some sources and added something that made my phone go into a loop status. So I add to restore my phone and that made it go to 1.1.2. So I had to downgrade, which I did and now I am running a hacked 1.1.2, but now with my question I have added some apps and my battery dies in one day, I have 5 games, nes emulator with 3 games, a couple of themes, iphysics, mms, iapp-a-day, audio amp, calld, customize, ilevel, smsd, taskbar notifier, mobile scrobbler, and services. Is anyone of these running down my battery that you guys know of? Sorry for the long history.

Ryan

My battery only last one day and it isn't hacked at the moment (that is with my standard usage habits). Are you sure that there is actually a problem?

before i did anything i would get 2 1/2 days. just within the last 2 days it's oing down faster

I haven't hacked my phone, but I remember reading that summerboard themes can drain your battery faster. One thing to try is to remove everything, and add one program, see how long the battery lasts, remove it, try a different one, etc. Then you'll identify the problem software. Or if they all work, what combination makes the battery drain. But I would definitely stay off the themes and JUST run one program, or run no programs and just themes. It's a pain but if you're having a compatibility issue then you'll be able to identify it right away.

You probably didn't have the games before the hack, so you might be using it more.

FWIW, I can sometimes stretch usage to two days, but I try to avoid that. It's sucking wind towards the end of day 2.

from what I have been ready, it looks like that ssh drains the battery pretty quick and I went to look and it was on. I turned it off, so we will see what happens now. I will report back with the results.
