Hey there,

are there any battery life tests out there showing the battery life of the 14inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro Chip?
I like the fact that it has 6 E-Cores for efficiency, but does it draw less power than the M2 Pro?

Not sure yet as most of us just received ours today on the 14" MBP. Maybe in the week some you-tubers who received theirs early would reveal results. I got the Max variant of the 14" so i will test it out in my day to day tomorrow as I received mine this evening and been tinkering with it.

PC Mag has one, their test is a little weird, the duration they got probably isn't a good barometer for battery duration (30 hours) playing a looped video at 50% brightness, but it had the longest battery life of any laptop they have ever tested.

I am very interested in this testing too. I have a feeling the M3 Pro battery life is going to be better than the M3 Max (as well as the M2 Pro).

This guy has an M2 vs M3 video and at the end says he will be releasing an M3 Pro vs M2 pro today. Very interested in the battery life difference.

I’d try and disable all 6 Performance cores and just live on 6 Efficieny Cores, for email and Youtube and online banking I want 30 hour battery life.

I have the a 14" m3 pro and after it finished it's indexing, etc with a 100% charge and multiple tabs open, email, brightness half way down, and watching YouTube videos it showed almost 20 hours of time remaining.

Battery is what I am curious about too. Seems like the base M3 has some substantial battery gains. Also, the M3 Pro having 6 efficiency cores might help the configuration over the M2 (although Apple specs say it is the same).
