Yep mine's crashing pretty quickly, but I think I have a fair bit of stuff turned on to test out new features (e.g. iCloud). Might just have to get back to switching lots of things off to preserve battery.

Mine is absolutely terrible!

Went to bed with over 40% battery, this morning it was dead and the alarm didn't go off of course so I slept in half an hour...

So I charged back up to 100% - and now within an hour and a bit I'm back down to 77%!! Something is seriously wrong!
It's running hot too. Have quit all running apps, rebooted, turned off photo stream and location services... battery still draining.

Gonna have to try a restore tonight –*though I did that last night when I installed iOS5 - not an 'update'.

Hopefully it will be OK this time?

Mine's been completely normal- same as with last iOS. I've had the gold master installed since the beginning of the week, so now that I'm not constantly playing with the phone and have turned off what I need to turn off, the battery life has been exactly as before.

I have also had the Gold Master installed since last week and have not noticed the battery draining any faster than normal.

I turned OFF iCloud Backup. Didn't make any difference.

Well of course it wouldn't as iCloud backup only happens when the device is plugged into power anyway.

Could just be that everyone is frantically trying out all the new bells and whistles.. causing the battery to run down quicker.

Going to do a full restore when I get in from work tonight. Hopefully that will do the trick.
