I'm planning to buy a new Macbook in the coming weeks. After a lot of doubting I got my mind set on a 13' Macbook Pro - 256gb without Touchbar.

However now I'm starting to read that the battery life is not that great...
For those who have made the switch; is it really that noticable? Or can you stretch it with light usage?

The retina screen on MBP is worth the slightly lower battery life.

Battery life is dependent upon what you do. If you're doing video or photo editing, the battery will be used up quickly. If just email or web with a the screen dimmed, you'll get decent battery life on both.

The battery life on the 13 nTB is incredibly good. I have no idea where anyone is acquiring these opinions. They're rated at 10 hours of use and 11+ is attainable if you're only browsing the web and doing non-intensive tasks.
Compared to the rest of the ultra thin laptops on the market the 13in nTB MBP sits atop of the throne.

The nTB is the mother of dragons, breaker of chains and the rightful Air
