Just got my self a 3GS.
Today, I fully charged my iphone. Went to work, and listened to the ipod for 3h 40min. And now, my battery is down to 27%.
Seriously, what shall I do? Push is turned off, Wi-fi also.
Shall I return the phone? I mean, come on, the spec says at least 24h of music listening.
I'm really getting pi**ed off.
Advice anybody?
And if you think I shall return it, how will I have to deal with the fact that I've jailbroken my phone? Is there away to "un-jailbreak" it so the people att Apple won't blame me for that?

Let it drain to 20%
Then fully recharge it.

Alright, and by that you think that I can fix my battery problem?
Is it a bad thing to charge it while it's only down to 60%?

Don't you agree with me that 3h40min is WAY to little to drain the batt by 70%?

You said it was new, and that means that you need to calibrate the battery. This is achieved through my previous post. This allows the meter to be more accurate.

After that, if the problem persists, try 2 more times.

If that fails, do a restore.

That fails? Do a restore as a new phone, not a backup.

If all else fails, watch all your usage carefully. Document it and see if its consistent. If you are not happy with your finding present them to an Apple "Genius" and see about a replacement, but take these step first.
