My battery life on iphone 6 with 8.1.3 was only 4-5 hours od usage and 12 standby and now on ios 8.2 i have 7 usage and 24+ standby:eek:

Give it a few days, and see if that pattern still holds up. There's a lot of background stuff going on after an OS update, and I suspect a lot of people that report battery life issues during the first discharge after updating aren't seeing the stabilized battery usage.

The first hour after installing iOS 8.2, the battery on my 5s drained down to 82% with the phone on standby the entire time. By the next day, that power drain had decreased considerably.

Also try recalibrating the battery by letting it drain all the way down, and then charge it all the way back up without interruption. After doing that last night, my battery's at 89% with 1 hour, 9 minutes usage, and 6 1/2 hours standby. Obviously, that will vary quite a bit with usage, but it gets back to my point about seeing what happens over the course of a few days.
