Hello,

I bought in november 2017 an Ipad 9.7", the basic one. I love it. But in the last month the battery has downgraded a lot. I update to IpadOs but in Settings Battery doesn't show the health of the battery like in the iphones.

So I downloaded an app call battery life and it says my battery is at that the wear level is "35% very high". Is it worth it to replace the battery? I don't really want to buy a new ipad, because this one works, and doesn't have any scratch. Also, my future plan is when my windows laptot dies don't replace and upgrade the ipad to a better one.

Please let me know if you have ever change the battery of your ipads and you feel it was worth it do it.

Thanks

My 2017 gen 5 had a horrible battery life, that and the WiFi problem I decided to upgrade to gen 6 on closeouts for $249.

I got money ($100) for my old one from a party that’s going to fix and resell it, so it was really worth it...

Onwards of iOS 12, Battery Life only shows a dummy number. Check via Coconut Battery or iMazing or 3U Tools.
