Am I the only one who has a ****** battery life???

my iphone prob last like 6-8hours which sucks and its pissin me off! Any Suggestions???

Turn off wifi when you're not using wifi, including when you're charging it.

Return it to a apple store and they will replace it. My son did and the battery life is great now.

If someone leaves WiFi on 24/7 and set their iPhone set to check their email every 5 minutes, their battery isn't going to last long at all.

I don't buy that... I have my WiFi on all day and I have my mail being checked every 15min and my battery can get me through an entire day with room to spare.

Battery time was terrible today.

Spent 1 hour on the net, 1 hour talking on phone...

Lasted from 9am to about 3pm and was dead.

Yeah, I was a little broad in my post. Sorry about that.

If I have WiFi on when I'm at work, but it's not used (because our WiFi network requires a VPN client, so it's useless to my iPhone), my battery is down to 30% by 5PM if I have the phone set to check email (via EDGE) every 5 minutes.

If I come to work, turn the WiFi off, and set the email to check once an hour, I have 90%+ left by 5pm.

So I guess what I'm saying is that if if you have WiFi on and aren't using it and have your phone pulling email via EDGE frequently, it can chew through the battery fairly quickly.
