battery no longer charging after drop--help

And this is just 8 days after the end of my iphone 4 warranty.

I've tried powering down/up, reseating the sim and battery, but no luck.

The phone shows that it's charging, but the battery never charges...

Any ideas? Is it worth buying a replacement battery and trying that? Thanks for any help. Just don't want to buy a replacement iphone 4...

Open the phone up, unscrew the battery connector and put all it back together again.
