battery % not appearing and SMS bug in 3.0 GM

I thought the battery % thing is a new feature of the iPhone 3.0.
However, I updated my 2G to the 3.0 GM and I dnt have it.. can anyone tell me how to activate it if it exists in the 1st place?

Besides, sometimes, after I updated to 3.0 GM, when someone sends me a text message, it doesn't come in the conversation I already have with that person but in a separate conversation.. did this happen to anyone else?

I heard it is a 3GS feature only.

And no i didn't have that text message problem.

3G S only.
I've had that happen a few times, nothing too bad.

I get the txt message thing happening to me on 3G.
I also get it when you send a message and it doesnt show up in the conversation until someone replies.

If you look at the number it came from when it separates, does it have the +44 or w/e area code attached. I've noticed that sometimes the number defaults with a dialing code and that's why it splits them as its not from the same number (iPhone still says the contact is the same though)
